Baptist Missionaries to Honduras – The Rudine family – Founders of  Alcanza Honduras Para Cristo

The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.” Matthew 9:37-38 (KJV)

Welcome to the website for the Rudine family.  We are Independent Baptist Missionaries.  I began  work in Honduras in 2004 by helping the Honduran Baptists plant True Vine Baptist church in El Porvenir.  After being off the mission field completing seminary in the United States, my wife and I returned to Honduras in December 2015 to form the ministry organization “Alcanza Honduras para Cristo” to begin evangelistic work to plant churches begining in El Porvenir, Atlántida, Honduras.  Our sending church is Christchurch Baptist Fellowship, located in Northwest Houston.   We deployed on faith to begin ministry and we have trusted the Lord to supply our need.   We have been forging ahead fulltime in Honduras and, at the same time, continuing  to raise support by prayer and communication with churches in the United States  and would like to ask you to think about partnering with us for prayer and monthly financial support.  We would love to send you a copy of our newsletter, which can be requested through the Contact Us page, or by email at info@reachhonduras.com.  Feel free to contact us even if you would just like to learn more about the ministry.  We would love to hear from you, and God Bless you all for your interest in our gospel preaching ministry in Honduras.  SEE OUR BLOG PAGE ON THIS WEBSITE FOR PERIODIC INFORMATIONAL POSTS AND PICTURES.

Children’s Ministry

Mission Statement

And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.”  (Matthew 28:18-20)

Our mission is to bring the Word of God to the people of Honduras through doing the work of an evangelist, planting churches, discipling believers and to see as many as possible come into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ.  Our primary area of ministry activity has been in the region of Atlántida and Colón.

Pillars of our ministry are FAITH, HOPE and CHARITY [Love]

[FAITH]  Honduras is recognized as one of the poorest countries in Central America and home to the murder capital of the world, the city of San Pedro Sula.   While governments try to solve problems such as corruption, gangs, and narcotic trafficking, the only real solution comes through the salvation of Jesus Christ and growing in the faith and practice of the Word of God.  Honduras is lacking good churches to bring this message and the __ family is responding to this need.  We have the vision to plant a church along the Northern coast of Honduras.

[HOPE]  Statistics show that 38% of the population of Honduras is under the age of 14.  Many of these children grow up in single parent homes leaving them hopelessly at risk for the destructive plans of the Devil.  God has a different plan.  We are praying that, beyond planting a church, the Lord might help us to start a school to give some of the children in particularly difficult situations hope for something better than what the sins of the fathers or just the hardships of life may have dealt. (Prov. 22:6)

[CHARITY]  “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” (Jn 15:13)  Eventually we must pass the responsibility of ministry on to the next generation.  Our prayer is to be used of God to call Honduran men into ministry service and train soul winners.  We love others by investing in them through providing essential Bible training and exemplary living.  (2 Tim. 2:2)
