Here on the mission field we fight a battle against powers and principalities in the heavenly realm and not against flesh and blood.\u00a0 I learned of one of these spiritual battles and I would like to share it with you so that you can know the power of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.\u00a0 There is a family I know that had their youngest daughter victimized by witchcraft through a domestic worker. \u00a0 According to the father, the little girl was demon possessed for about three years and was only just recently delivered from the demon spirit by the authority of Jesus Christ.\u00a0 The dad told me that the little girl could not sleep for more than 30 minutes a night before awakening screaming.\u00a0 She would growl and use curse words that had never been spoken in their home.\u00a0 In addition, the dad said his little daughter had super human strength and that he could not break her grip.\u00a0 The dad told me that he and his wife did seek a therapist, but he knew in his heart that this was not going to deal with the real problem.\u00a0 He knew his daughter was possessed and did not know how to deal with this. \u00a0 With the situation going into its third year, the dad and mom began to pray for someone to help him.\u00a0 That\u2019s when he remembered a very humble Christian lady from his hometown that he was certain could help him get deliverance for the little girl.\u00a0 Just a couple of weeks later the dad took a bus ride with his daughter back to his hometown and found the lady.\u00a0 She invited two more of Christian friends to come over and help her pray.\u00a0 After fifteen minutes of prayer nothing happened, but then the lady felt led to read a Psalm and then she proceeded to sing the Psalm.\u00a0 The dad told me that the Holy Spirit manifested and with authority, in the name of Jesus, the demon was cast out.\u00a0 I don\u2019t know what Psalm was being read, but I want to make reference to Psalm 22:3 as an example to help understand what took place.\u00a0 Psalm 22:3 says, \u201cBut thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.\u201d\u00a0 If they broke out singing a verse like this, it is easy to see how the Holy Spirit would manifest.\u00a0 The little girl, who is five now, is very sweet and with great enthusiasm sings the children\u2019s song, \u201cI\u2019m in the Lord\u2019s Army.\u201d\u00a0 It is so awesome to have the victory in Jesus that gives us deliverance from Satan.\u00a0 We proclaim the gospel of Jesus and pray that we will see people delivered from bondage to Satan.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
